Abstract: Military communications stations using many setups with closely spaced antennas (Shipboard operation) can be overwhelmed by cosite problems. A typical problem is reciprocal mixing and blocking/ desensitization. This presentation explains the mechanism how these interferences occur and how for a practical systems they can be minimized. As a working example the modern SDR transceiver architecture is selected.
