Embedding Trust in the Physical Layer: Securing Hardware through Terahertz and Low-Power Silicon Electronics
MTL Seminar Series
Eunseok Lee, DDS
Abstract
This talk presents CMOS-based hardware security ICs that leverage physical-layer properties for miniaturized electronics under severe size and power constraints. By exploiting wave propagation, chip-to-object attachment, and silicon-level randomness, it shows how physical properties can be transformed into security functions, establishing a new hardware-driven paradigm for trusted electronics.
