MTL Seminar Series
Gregg Favalora & Michael Moebius, Draper

Speaker

Gregg Favalora is the Group Leader for Sensors & Imaging Systems at Draper, and has been an engineering and R&D manager of optical systems for over 20 years. A specialist in 3-D display technology, he co-chairs the Stereoscopic Displays & Applications conference and was founder and CTO of Actuality Systems, creator of volumetric and other 3-D displays. Gregg received a BS in Electrical Engineering from Yale University, an SM in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University, and is an inventor on approximately 20 U.S. patents.

Michael Moebius is a Senior Member of the Technical Staff in Draper’s Photonic Systems group, where he has been working on programs developing integrated photonic device solutions in a variety of applications. Michael’s expertise is in modeling and design of photonic systems and his previous work included nonlinear photonics and 3D direct laser writing. Michael received a PhD in Applied Physics from Harvard University and BS in Materials Engineering & Applied Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
