Sara Mouradian received her PhD from MIT in the Quantum Photonics Group on scalable solutions for diamond-based quantum information processing with integrated photonic circuits. She is now a postdocotoral scholar at UC Berkeley working on novel architectures for trapped ion experiments.

Abstract
Quantum computing requires control of complex quantum systems, but current experiments are limited by high decoherence rates, low entanglement rates, and large overhead. This talk demonstrates the scalability of solid-state platforms. Nanofabricated diamond resonators increase emission and collection of photons from atomic-like defects, and a hybrid photonic integrated circuit provides low-loss routing of those photons.
